"The Genie" is the fourth episode of Series 4 and 102nd episode overall of Shaun the Sheep.
Synopsis[]
Shaun dreams of a life on the fast-lane.
Plot[]
The episode starts with The Farmer opening his fridge and noticing that there is no food. He and Bitzer then head off to the shop. Shaun, who is in a wooden car, notices a red convertible and dreams about driving one on the fast-lane.
Shirley, who is throwing junk, falls over and crushes Shaun's wooden car, causing him to be miserable. Shirley notices a genie lamp. She rubs it and a sheep genie appears. Shirley wishes for some things, and the genie gives her some things (i.e. a TV, a box, etc.). Shirley also asks for pizza, and the genie gives it to her. The flock want some pizza too. Shirley wants pizza, but the genie has 3 wishes. The genie tries to show Shirley what she could wish you apart from pizza, but Shirley still wants more pizza, and the genie sighs, then he gives her. The genie goes back into the lamp after Shirley used her last wish and all the sheep tries to get the lamp so that they can all have pizza. Shaun has other ideas. When one of the sheep rubs the lamp and the genie reappearances, all the flock want to have 3 pizzas each.
The Genie tries to show the flock something of what else they could wish for, it turns to be a red convertible, (the car that Shaun dreams about a fast-lane) But all the sheep still want their pizza. Shaun tries to get it, but it was too late--it vanished. Shaun wants the convertible, but the flock kicks him out. All the flock get 3 pizzas each. The genie asks Timmy wants, and Timmy asks for a huge pizza. The genie conjures up a giant pizza which falls out of the sky slams the field. The flock then swim here, except for Shaun (who needs to wish a red convertible). However, Shaun see the Farmer and Bitzer are coming back and he decides not to wish for the car.
He rubs it, and the genie appears, and he needs to vanish the huge pizza, but the genie vanishes the flock, the genie and Shaun are in a pink background, then it's back to present day with the huge pizza gone. One of the flock tried to get it, but Shaun kicks the genie lamp into a cargo truck and is not seen at the episode again. The land rover came back to the farmhouse, and we see the farmer and Bitzer, who is getting pizza boxes. He tried to hide it, as the flock were to get it and hit Shaun.

- The farmer's grocers are seen in person.
- This is the third episode in the series where Timmy and his mother appear together.
- The pizza box bears the name "Pizzanas".
Goofs/Errors[]
- If you look at The Farmer's pizza boxes, the name on the pizza box reads "Pizzana", instead of "Pizzanas".
- When Shaun grabs the red convertible, he is missing his fleece.
- When the flock had a pizza card, the "Pizzanas" logo is not visible, despite it is from the box. The reason it didn't appear is only the logo appears on the pizza boxes at the end.
