Whistleblower is the twenty-ninth episode of Series 2 of Shaun the Sheep.
Synopsis[]
Bitzer loses his favourite whistle, so he uses the farmer's trumpet as a replacement.
Plot[]
The episode starts with the flock relaxing in the field and Bitzer lounging on a chair holding a drink. Bitzer spills some of the drink on his nose after being startled by the farmer blowing on his trumpet. The farmer then walks outside and sees his farm in disrepair. He stands up a garden gnome but it is smashed moments later by a loose roof tile. The farmer whistles for Bitzer and talks to him before swiping his finger along the pasture gate showing Bitzer the dust, causing the entire gate to fall apart. The farmer gives Bitzer a tool box and a clipboard with tasks and tells him to fix the barn while he's gone. Bitzer uses his whistle to organize the farm animals to do the tasks for him. While supervising the pigs, one of them kicks the food trough in front of Bitzer tripping him into the mud. The pigs laugh at him and takes his whistle. Bitzer replaces his whistle with the farmer's trumpet and plays an anthem assembling all the animals in an instant. Shaun makes the pig who took the whistle return it to Bitzer but he instead tosses it in favor of the trumpet. Bitzer then begins playing his trumpet again directing all the animals to their assigned tasks. After a while, Mower Mouth loses his sanity listening to Bitzer's prolonged trumpet playing. The goat starts running frantically around the barn causing mayhem and undoing all the progress the animals have made. Bitzer pleads everyone to forgive him but they leave him and Mower Mouth eats the trumpet. Devastated, Bitzer starts crying and sucking his thumb causing Shaun to feel bad. Some time pass and the farmer returns home. Bitzer prepares to be scolded but is surprised that the farmer pats him on the head. Turning around he sees the farm completely repaired. Once the farmer went inside all the animals revealed themselves to be the ones who fixed it. Overjoyed, Bitzer goes up to Shaun and kisses his hand. The episode ends with Bitzer repaying everyone by serving them drinks, handing out fans, rubbing sunscreen on a pig, and handing Shaun a drink after he blew Bitzer's whistle.
