Party Animals is the seventeenth episode in Series 2 and the fifty-seventh episode overall of Shaun the Sheep.
Episode Summary[]
The episode begins with The Farmer making his cake. Happy with how it turned out, he goes to the calendar and crosses off 16, with only three days until his birthday on the 19th, much to his excitement.
Meanwhile, Bitzer and The Flock are playing cards. Bitzer shuffles them, while the Flock impatiently waits, but become annoyed when Bitzer throws the cards to the Flock, resulting in the cards being stuck in the Flock's wool, much to their annoyance.
After the Farmer finishes writing the invitations, he whistles out for Bitzer, and orders him to get the invitations to the post box. At first, he peeks over the Farmer looking at costumes to wear for his party, but the Farmer catches him.
Outside, Shaun joins Bitzer to get the letters to the post box and the Farmer chooses the sheep costume to wear. Meanwhile, Shaun and Bitzer play frisbee with the letters and, at the post box, Bitzer attempts to throw the letters into the box, like he did with cards earlier, but he misses every single one and they end up in a sewage drain. Upon realizing, he jumps in and retrieves the letters, only to find them severely soaked in the sewage, unable to be delivered. To prevent the Farmer from being sad at the fact that most likely nobody would come to his party now, Shaun comes up with an idea that they could be the invited people. Bitzer agrees.
Back at home, the Farmer puts up decorations for the party as Bitzer sneakily steals the costume book and him and the Flock start making costumes, mostly stealing the Farmer's clothes. As the day draws near, the costumes are made.
At 8pm, the animals (in their costumes) arrive, and Shirley (wearing just high heels) instantly becomes the Farmer's crush. The party goes well, and the animals give him a gift of a new car (just a cardboard cut-out). When the cake time arrives, the Farmer blows out the candle but Shaun's mask in the process. To prevent the Farmer from putting two and two together, Shirley kisses and Shaun puts the mask back on. They then go for a conga outside.
Later the next afternoon, the Farmer wakes up. The house is big mess from the previous night and, when he gets outside, he finds the high heel Shirley accidentally lost from the conga on his doorstep. However, he finds the other on Shirley's foot, making him suspicious. However, Shirley throws it away and the Farmer goes in the house, leaving both Shaun and Shirley laughing as the episode ends.
